Oregon Agricultural Trust, along with Wild Rivers Land Trust and The Nature Conservancy, was tasked to lead a study of the feasibility of a working lands conservation program in Oregon’s Coos and Curry Counties and possible routes to execute that work. Over the past year, this partnership has surveyed community members, farmers, ranchers, and conservationists, as well as studying other working lands conservation programs with the goal of identifying potential models for successful conservation on Oregon’s South Coast.
This document not only analyzes the feasibility of key strategies that may address the underlying issues, but also offers several partnership options for deploying those strategies.
