Transitioning your Ag Business to the Next Chapter

Farm and Ranch succession counselor and accountant Diana Tourney will prepare you for the human and financial elements of succession planning. Participants will start by setting high-level goals. They’ll then get down to business and ask the hard question of how to quarterback the succession process, manage family dynamics, and more.

Working Lands Easements

Easement specialist Marc Hudson will answer your questions about working lands conservation easements - what they are, what they aren’t, and how they may be helpful in executing your agricultural business plans.

How to Attend

These in-person events are part of a free 6-workshop series in Lake, Harney and Malheur Counties.

Presenters

Diana Tourney is an accountant with an independent practices, a small business advisor at the Small Business Development Center network, and a rancher. Diana has helped dozens of farmers and ranchers complete estate & succession plans.

Marc Hudson is the Rangeland Program Director at Oregon Agricultural Trust (OAT) and has advised over 100 working lands operations in 6 states on how to protect their operation, manage natural resource issues, and ensure financial stability.
